1. Our Commitment

​

Dee Bee Talent Management is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people we work with. We believe every child has the right to feel safe, respected, supported and listened to.

Safeguarding is central to everything we do. We take our duty of care seriously and are committed to creating an environment where children can develop creatively and professionally without fear, pressure or harm.

2. Scope of This Policy

​

This policy applies to:

  • All children and young people represented by Dee Bee Talent Management

  • Parents and carers

  • All staff, agents, freelancers, contractors and associates

  • Anyone acting on behalf of Dee Bee Talent Management

For the purposes of this policy, a child is defined as anyone under the age of 18.

3. Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

​

Dee Bee Talent Management has a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) who is responsible for overseeing safeguarding practices and responding to any concerns.

​

All safeguarding concerns should be reported directly to the DSL or Deputy DSL.

​

4. Recognising Abuse and Harm

​

We recognise that safeguarding concerns may include, but are not limited to:

  • Physical abuse

  • Emotional abuse

  • Sexual abuse

  • Neglect

  • Bullying or harassment

  • Online abuse or grooming

We understand that abuse can occur in any setting and may be carried out by adults or other children.

5. Responding to Concerns or Disclosures

​

If a child discloses a safeguarding concern:

  • They will be listened to calmly and respectfully

  • They will not be promised confidentiality

  • The information will be recorded accurately

  • The concern will be reported to the DSL immediately

All concerns are taken seriously and acted upon promptly. Where necessary, concerns may be escalated to appropriate external agencies in line with safeguarding legislation.

6. Safer Working Practices

​

Dee Bee Talent Management is committed to safer working practices, including:

  • Avoiding one-to-one situations without parental knowledge or consent

  • Ensuring appropriate supervision at auditions, workshops and events

  • Using open, professional communication at all times

  • Maintaining clear professional boundaries

​

7. Photography, Filming and Media

​

Images, videos and recordings of children will only be taken and used with parental consent and for agreed purposes. Content will be stored securely and shared responsibly.

​

8. Policy Review

​

This policy is reviewed annually and updated in line with current safeguarding legislation and best practice.

​

Both Delycia and Tiggy have enhanced DBS checks and ​this Policy will be reviewed annually to take into account any statutory or legislative changes.
